add a Gantt chart for project management
I would like to be able to create a Gantt chart for a project that would allow me to visually track assigned tasks with due dates & level of progress.
51 votesAlthough it is not a gnatt chart, we added functionality that will help in this area. You can now add the “effort” of a task. You can also resize tasks on the calendar:

Student Licenses
Student Licenses for students to use the software for group projects. The look and feel of the software is great. Organization is great. This would help students (like myself) keep my group/team projects on point.

Need More Colors!!!
We need more color options for projects. It's important that multiple projects do not share the same color. Is there a way to use a Color Picker or something similar to assign more color options?

Tags
There are a thousand reasons why people want to add a post-hoc category. Being able to see all items with that category provides sorting power. Personally I use Covey's Four Quadrants system for various management applications. Being able to tag Q1-Q4 for example would enable me to use Manage It to implement this strategy

Improve email notification
Please include the details of the note in the email notification. Although other people in the project get an email notification task it assigned to them, they don't really have any context. For instance, if you assign them a subtask like Email campaign (level 1 task) and underneath that say Review (level 2 task), it only says "Review" in the email and didn't include the notes description. It requires people to log back into ManageIt, when it might be more useful for them to see the full details in the email.

Track time against a task
I would like the ability for the person assigned a task to put in how many hours it took to complete the task. It would simplify my billing. I don't need anything fancier than total hours and minutes spent, but some day to add date and time spent would be awesome too.
