Add options to change color scheme
I find the current color scheme (white/cyan) extremely difficult to view on my phone. In order to use regularly we need an option to modify the colors or at least have an option of other schemes.

import task list from Excel
I have an existing list of tasks and owners. it would be nice to be able to import the entire list of tasks rather than having to enter each individually.

It seems to me that Manage It is very near to what I want but could do with expanding to include timelines and the function to set and see deadlines for each task element within a project perhaps illustrated across a calendar. Perhaps a bit like a gantt. This would enable project staff to set and organise their tasks within the context of a project programme each with its own deadlines, must do’s etc which I can view and drill down into-does this make sense?
13 votesAlthough it is not a gnatt chart, we added functionality that will help in this area. You can now add the “effort” of a task. You can also resize tasks on the calendar:

Allow admin to disable attachments and links to external cloud storage sites.
We need to disable the ability for people to attach documents and/or link to an external cloud storage site. This is necessary for our company security policy.

when you don't know what project its in, or it was moved by someone else. help to eliminate dups by different users too.

Add the ability to create a template from a task list
Lots of projects have a similar set of tasks. Would be nice to be able to save a project as a template for use on the next project. :)

1 voteWe now offer the ability to duplicate a group of tasks. This functionality is live on the web app and should make to all the native apps some time this week. You can use this functionality to duplicate tasks to a new project (like project templates) or to the same project.
To use this functionality click on the task menu (the 3 dots on the right of each task) then click “Duplicate task…”. This functionality is available to any company that has more than 2 projects.

Need a Report showing a Person's Tasks
in Chrome the Print option via the Chrome menu doesn't work. There is no right click option to print this screen either. If there was, I would get the Tasks for all 3 people in my Project on one page. Ideally I want one Task Report per person so I can give them a printed copy.

Completed tasks are a different color and have a check mark next to them.

List view in calendar should show project name
List view in calendar should show which project the task is assigned to, not just the color code. Difficult to keep track if there are many colors.

Export to Excel
Are you able to export the task list to Excel? Include due date, person, task description?

- open a project
- click on the wrench icon
- click “export project as csv” -

something that all the due dates entered in manageit app will reflect on my google calendar so it would reflect on my phone. and i dont need to do to the app just to check the due dates.

We greatly expanded our export as CSV options, you can see it by clicking on the share button at the top of the web app.

Just a simple "facebook" type chat for online users to communicate.
A comments section on tasks to discuss the tasks.
An inbox or ability to leave offline messages for users within the chat or other.

You should be able to print the calendar in the latest version of the app. Just use the File→Print command in your web browser. Thanks for the idea!

Hi there. I've been looking for a project management app for a long time and I really like the look of your product. I LOVE the simplicity of it (no calendars, CRM, Milestones etc. etc). I love that it is just projects and tasks. The only thing I would LOVE to see it the ability to discuss the tasks by all members of the project... start a thread. The notes feature is not really the same thing

Refresh the page in your web browser to get the latest app. If you are using a native app, go into the app store and update the app. This feature should be live for all native apps except iOS, hopefully Apple will approve this update in the next few days.
