Please add the date that the task was created to the export file.
For printing a task list from the export file it is helpful to show the date the task was created so that we can flag items that have been outstanding for a long time.

You can now do this using the steps here:

EU data format
Configuration of data format: EU date (dd/mm/yyyy) or US date (mm/dd/yyyy). This feature is more than expected i.e. when displaying the due date. Exactly as it already works for Get It Done application. Thank you

We just pushed the change to the website:
https://app.manageitapp.com/It will be in the native apps in the next update.

So far I love this app, it still needs recurring tasks and timed reminders
So far I love this app, it still needs recurring tasks and timed reminders for each task in 10-15 min increments,It would also be nice to have email integrated so you can add email tasks all in the same app, then it will be a great app!
8 votesRepeating tasks are now in the new version of the app:

When you are in a project (click the projects button then the project), click the “Active” button at the top of the screen. You will be given options to see all tasks, just completed, or just active tasks.

Blank notes from emailed tasks
When I email a task to a project it always highlights the notes box as though there is a note under the task. However, there is only a space or new line in the notes field (i.e. nothing there). I can delete the space or new line and save it to remove the highlighted notes icon but whatever I do to the email body to try and remove everything it always creates a note under the task.
I like to be able to add notes via the email body but when the body is blank I don't expect it to…3 votes -

Enable timezone settings
The date format is set for US. This can be confusing and cause errors for us in Europe for example

Create a higher contrast theme
Either be able to adjust existing colors,(darkening, or lightening) or choose from a simple palette of colors, or provide a variety of established themes. Providing the entire theme is hard to fit each user's preference. Allowing a few options with customization capability would be best.
4 votesWe added a dark theme, see this post for details:

This update sets us up to add more themes in the future fairly quickly. -

Pricing
Dear ManageIt
Have you done any competitive pricing analysis?
Systems like Todoist, IQTell, OmniFocus, etc. have more functionality and are in the range of $29 - 79 per year per subscriber
Your platform looks good but the price is a non-starter
Please feel free to contact me.
1 voteclosed because it is more of a question not new functionality, see comment for details.
Thanks

Create new tasks at the bottom of the list
When I'm entering a list of tasks I usually think of them in order of importance, and the current method of putting newest tasks at the top of the list means I have to manually rearrange them. It's very counter-intuitive.
14 votesThanks for the feedback, you now have the option to add to top or bottom of list. You will now se an arrow next to the add task field, just click it to choose to add to top or bottom of list.
This is live on the website now but it may take a few days to get to all the app stores on all the different devices.

Put sub task with name in front of it corresponding to that job.
We have multiple projects and multiple tasks for each project. For example we have a build and installation task for almost every job. Instead of saying Install on the calendar can the job name be put in front of it? . Project: "Smith House" Task 1: "Build" Task 2: "Install".
5 votesThanks for the suggestion, there is not enough space to do it in the month view but we are now showing the parent task in the day and list views. We also are showing it in your My Work view

Add ability to expand or collapse all tasks and sub-tasks with one click
The software seems to automatically collapse all of my subtasks when I close out of it. It would be very beneficial to easily expand my tasks and subtasks without having to expance each task individually
4 votesWe just added this option to the app. You can find the option to expand/hide tasks under the wrench icon when you are viewing your project.
